Majority Rules/ 100% drools

this was a great class, and i think that we experienced a successful hour of group collabaration, i must say that although i agree with the 100% rule, majority should prevail, especially in a class of 85, and a situation where 80 will benefit. if we are given extra points to improve our grades we should take it and continue to work hard and improve. the whole process indeed was frustrating, and naturally ppl want wat benefits themselves best, however in this situation nobody suffers. we began by two students taking charge as mediators between the class and the prof. we proceeded to listening to everyone blurt out ideas in what was a compromise decision making attemp. everyone was equal, yes , even the self proclaimed leaders, and we all hared our thoughts until we came to one decision. the pressure was the lack of time, which seemed so little due to the large number of students who chose to voice theri oppinions. although towards the end, we managaed to come to a majority agreement, we did not have 100%, and could not have the final decision, these students though disagreed took the position of accomodaters, and agreed to vote with the majority, what these students did was realize how the extra points weremore important to their classmates over their oppinions and ethics towards a decision that wouldonly benefit them. i also feel that we had SORT OF COLLABRATION EXCEPT WE WERE MISSING THE multiple group insight, however the class as a whole is a group bargaining and negotiating. in conclusion it semes that within making one group decision requires variousways of handling conflict.

I think if majority agrees on a decision others should follow. The decision at hand benefited everyone. So everyone should be happy :)
